Superserver?
Firebird comes in two flavours, called architectures: Classic Server and
Superserver. Which one should you install? That depends on your differences follows.

## Classic oder Superserver?
Firebird kommt in zwei Architekturen: Classic Server und Superserver. Welche sollten Sie installieren? Das hängt von Ihren Anforderungen nachfolgende Tabelle.

## Classic ou Superserver ?
Firebird existe sous deux formes, appellées architectures: Classic Server et Superserver. Laquelle installer ? Et bien, cela dépend de votre plus importantes sont listées ci après.

Some installers ask you to choose between Classic, SuperClassic and SuperServer mode. What are they?
- Classic mode (aka MultiProcess) involves a single listening process that processes (e.g. embedded servers) may open the same database simultaneously (hence the Shared).
• Superserver (ThreadedDedicated) is also a single server process with threads handling client connections. There Firebird in SuperClassic server mode

| 2 年前 3 a buffer is the same size as a database page, and whether the installation is using Classic or Superserver versions of Firebird.
In a Classic and SuperClassic Server installation, by default, each connection the database gets its own relatively small cache of 256 pages (was 75 before Firebird 3.0) while Superserver creates a much larger cache of 2048 pages which is shared between all the connections.
